Classification of companies

To determine the activities for which financial standing is recognised for the purpose of being awarded works contracts with an estimated value equal to or greater than 500,000. This is not mandatory in service contracts, but acts as a tool for administrative simplification.

Procedure stage:

Initiate Classification Request. To apply for classification, please complete and submit the forms electronically, along with the required supporting documentation, through the web application.
Classification Processing. You will receive electronic notifications through the DEHú during the processing of the procedure. You can submit documentation electronically throughout the processing phase.
Decision You will receive an electronic notification through the DEHú regarding the resolution of the file. Any changes in classification are automatically updated in the Register of Approved Contractors for Public Services.
Initiation of the ex officio review. The initiation of the ex officio review procedure will be notified electronically through the DEHú.
Ex officio review processing. You will receive electronic notifications through the DEHú during the processing of the procedure. You can submit documentation electronically throughout the processing phase via the Registry Online Services (REG).
Ex officio review decision. You will receive an electronic notification through the DEHú regarding the resolution of the file. Any changes in classification are automatically updated in the Register of Approved Contractors for Public Services.
